I guess its time i blooged... I can't wait to share the excitement i had for the past 2 days.
First of all, i went to Auntie Peggy's place for dinner. It was just lovely, i am sure sam, jiamin and viv agree with me on that. It was a fantastic dinner i must admit, with home-cooked food and a very warm feeling. Just reminded me of home where my mum would whipped up a few dishes awaiting my arrival. After eating food of no standard for a long time, its finally time to treat my tummy a little better after eons of torture. I was so well-fed that i could feel the pounds on me. Its like a dinner with your grandparents and hearing all those grandma stories. I love hearing them. Auntie peggy was telling us of those days when she was chased by uncle peter. She reminded us time and time again to find a man who 'worship' the ground i travelled on. At the end of the night, I guess when we left, all that we took home was just this piece of advice and of course HOPE! Hope of not just being able to eat good food again but a hope of finding someone to lean on. Aunty peggy and Uncle peter were still so loving and cute after being married for 50 years, i really enjoy watching old couples walking down the beach holding hands. At least for me, it brought me hope to see everlasting love in marriages in this world stained with divorces and affairs.
I was really excited today especially last night. I just couldn't sleep, keep thinking about flying today. FLying is so funtastic... must really thank chris for even taking the time off to fly us around sydney. It was super duper fun... Hey chris, you look good in that pilot uniform, haha. Never had i dreamt of sitting in a plane and flying above sydney habour bridge, but today, it became a reality. Somehow, it feels so different looking at things from above and everything is so small below us. Looking at all those mechanisms on the plane, my.. it gives me a headache already. At least, now i have firsthand experience of being in sydney's air and also at radio call.. HAHA! UNF- Uniform November Foxtrot, prepare for takeoff. HAHA! Pulling the G2 was fun, i recalled when chris pulled the plus, me, des and jiamin were screaming and we couldn't even lift our hands to take a photo. REally thank god that it was a good trip and we made it back alive and safe on to planet earth. Thanks CHRIS for driving us there and flying us around too!
Lastly, went for a semiformal dinner at Pancakes on the rocks with the OCFers. It was fun, chilling and eating pancakes. The ribs was just absolutely fantastic and mouthwatering. Had crepe and it was just mexicana. I only got one word for the Devil's delight that we ordered too, SINFUL! Meiyong and Huiyong baked cookies too, absolutely delicious. All i can say is that, i really really need to go swimming soon! Sam , jiamin and trish... we need to start implementing our HEALTHY LIVING proposal. After eating, the whole lot of us had a little stroll to the quay, it was just romantic with the correct ambience. BUT.. the wrong company.. haha! (guys, dun kill me! JOKING) Overall, it was a funtastic day with a romantic night. TRISH how do you say that in italian?? Definately not michoso right...HAHA!
