Went OCF Sydney AGM. It is indeed interesting to know how OCF is run. I must say that it was really touching to hear how god works in use, giving us blessings upon blessings. Indeed, OCF is about Jesus and for Jesus.
Was listening to Esther's sharingabout personality quizzes. She was sharing about how many a times, we take so many quizzes and you can just answer the quiz in such a way that you can get the personality you want to be seen on the paper. It is true...we take it so many times that i know the answers to most of the question already. I felt really challenged about what she say. She led us to Luke 12:13. A personality quiz: ARe you a fool? Many a times, we store up posessions and riches on earth. We are overwhlemed by greed. All the earthly possesions that we store up for ourselves so that we can eat, drink and be merry. But yet God said, "You FOOL! This very night, your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself." I was deeply challenged. Nobody wants to be called a fool, certainly not me. Have we been looking too much at our tangible rewards and focusing too much on what we have now that we forget what is stored us for us in heaven? The richness in heaven? I guess to be or not to be a fool, is entirely up to us!
AFter AGM, we have our all time favourite sports- captain's ball. It was fun to see how aggressive CERTAIN people play. The funniest was when the game turn into a rugby game when you see people rolling around on the floor trying their best to catch and hold the ball tightly in their arms. But it was good to know that they did their best.
Well, we can't live without food can we? went to eat lunch at red hat restaurant, a change to our usual Golden Fang, aka Auntie fang. The food was good, nevertheless, we just couldn't resist not ordering our all-time favourite, and the only dish that OCFers CANNOT live without- shandong chicken. WHerever we go, we always order that.
Went for a game of tennis. It was tiring but fun. Muscle-stimulating too. Hopefully i will be able to burn my fats off. Besides exercising our hand and legs, we exercise our brain, mouth and fingers too, my singing and playing on the guitar. SO you can see, it was extrememly tiring and energy-draining.
Went for dinner at some indo restaurant. Its so unfair that they have more varieties to choose from. I think OCF must expand our horizon and explore new grounds. Honestly, we have been in Aunite Fang for way too long a time. (notice the intimacy level we have obtained after spending most of our lives there.) I should start writing up a petition to have more food stores around church.
Headed straight home and finally its time again for me to indulge in my favourite pastime. STUDYING! (notice the sacarsm!)
