Sorry for that really long update but due to technical failure on my part. Firstly i had a really really terrible week ago. I was super busy with 2 huge assignments due and my faithful computer have to fail me at such a critical moment. DARN.... but then again i was so relief after the week gone by and i am still a survivor. Of course also, thankful for the friends i made whose computers were also down and working through the night at the resource centre. So had a terrrible week last and this week was absolutely sensational.
Had a really hectic week playing due to the semester break that i had. Had a game of paintball on saturday with a number of us and it was a really fun but PAINFUL experience. It was fun shooting at other people but painful to get shot at. In total i had 20 bruises all over and it is really OUCH! Paintball aka PAINBALL really gave a feeling of battlefieldness and it is a very violent game and guess wat, i met a primary school friend on the battlefield when at 'WAR'. Sunday was convention fundraising and the food was delicious. Not that i had a big part in making the food. Karaoke was after that. As usual, the trios, Linus, James and John tang (the desperate singles) have to sing desperate, sappy love songs. Gee, they sing it with so much passion and enthusiasm. Basically after singing K i was dead tired...Haven exactly been sleeping much (probably about 6 hours in total for the 3 days). Next up on the list was movie night with the girls and guys... 'wallace and gromit' British Humour...not exactly my kind of humour but it was really hilarious.
Wednesday is PICNIC at COGEE. The food was great and the fellowship was wonderful especially the childhood games that we played like 'what time is it mr wolf.' Clarence walkie talkie was really fun too, i think Sydney people have nothing else to do and we find joy and entertainment playing wiht walkie talkies... Yes we are sad but we enjoyed it! So anyway i am at Canberra today, now...at this moment. Left on friday night and the canberrians brought us to eat short soup 'wonton soup' and fried chicken for supper. Wow... it was really a big crowd of people.. SHOCKING. The next morning we had breakfast by the man made lake beside the tree with silver leaves. I ate a chocolate brulle and it was YUM! Took a little stroll to see some museum then headed off to see the war memorial. Not exactly a history person but it was saddening to see the war and stuff. Today, we went to the floriade to see flowers. Tulips, Tulips and more TUlips. Then off to the parliment house. All those meetings that we see on tv was finaaly brought to life before my eyes. Thank god, we did not got stuck in the lift cos the batch after us were stuck in the lift...really thankful. Went for a quick yum char and i broke a chopstick in the process while trying to cut my pie. The pie was HArd! Drove to the outskirts and took a ride on the Bobsled. It is like this gold kart looking thing that you take up the mountain and then slide down full speed downhill. That was really exciting and fun except i was being too adventrous and refuse to pull the brake at the corners and i almost fell off the slide so after that i have learnt my lesson.
Sharks school is starting on tuesday and its time to go back to sydney again tomorrow and start preparing for my exams. For those of you who see this... PLeASE pray for my laptop to be faithful to me.
