Welcome OLYMPICS!

It is 7:17 am in the morning and i just finished watching the opening ceremony. It started at 3:30am and i wanted so much to watch it, so out of my bed i jumped. I must say it was spectacular, absoultely magnificent. I guess watching it live on TV with everybody else in Athens, makes it even more exciting. But i reckon, the best part is to be able to watch it with my mates. SUV had organised a toga party where we can all gather to watch the ceremony with free breakfast provided. We had to wear wither togas or PJs so i chose my comfiest PJs out. A purple one with lady bugs on. Just missing UGG boots to look a little more Aussie.
Well the ceremony was abit boring iniatially but when the flags came in, we just shouted and cheered for our country. It took quite sometime for singapore to come on though. So i slept for a while in the midst of waiting. But the wait was all worth it. I guess i am just patriotic and proud to be a singaporean. Afterall, the cheering and yelling was super duper FUN!
Had some breakfast, A harsh brown, sausages on bread and an egg on bread. Typical aussie breakfast. Man, now that the olympics has started, i am so going to be busy watching the games. A must not miss, Atheletes and Gymnastics. My Favourite...although many girls like swimming and going gaga over Ian Thorpe. Until now, i really wonder what's so nice about swimming and Ian Thorpe? Not like he is super hunky or cute for that matter, i would rather look into the mirror and admire that reflection i see. (Abit of ego problem here.)
Well for those who miss the opening ceremony, too BAD! Try catching the closing ceremony then. I for one, had a great time waking up at 3 in the morning and not sleeping a wink after the thingy ended. Ok i better get some rest now for i have an amazing race (like a treasure hunt thingy) to do tomorrow, or rather today..later at 9.30. Yawnzz.. Good night, or should i say GOOD MORNING!

I love OLYMPICS! Welcome home to Greece!
