Its late at night and i'm so ready to sleep but i just can't. Everytime i get into bed, i twist and turn only to find my self still awake at 2am in the morning. It seems like i am never getting out of the habit of sleeping early and waking up early. So much for the early bird catches the worm.
I got no idea whats wrong with me for the past few weeks, probably i am so accustomed to sleeping late and rushing my assingments that i have long forgotten the joy of being able to sleep early and not having the alarm clock to ring and wake me up from my slumber. Work has bogged me down and that is about the only thing on my mind. Work, Work and more Work, can;t seem to get enough of it. So i decided to get a break from work and i put myself into more trouble, rushing deadlines! WHy is it that every student has a problem with rushing deadlines, or issit just me??? Has anybody noticed how stressful children look this day..... Ok change to a happier topic!
For those of you who don't know, i am currently setting up a matchmaking agency in OCF sydney and getting recruits from OCF canberra. After the trip down to canberra, i think it is high time for me to do something to help both centres... HAHA! thus my plan to matchmake people. What a joyous and happy thing. SO for single people out there who needs help in finding a mathc, just send me your CV and photo and i will help you with the rest. Trying to create a profile. Just ask those sydney people on the canberra trip how i terrorised and interrogated them into giving me their CV so that i can have at least a decent profile of members. I have decided that since no one is coming forward, everyone is automatically in my match making company just like SDU! So please let me help you! *success guaranteed!
So yar, canberra is fun. But i have to admit, it is alot to do witth the company you are with. Gee their 'city' is 4 traffic lights in width and probably 6 traffic lights in length. SO much for a 'city'? Population of people in the city on a friday night! 20, which includes 20 of us! So yar, we re the only ones in the city! Basically an ulu city! The first time i actually get to see civilisation was at the floriade, flower festival. But then again, i think the proportion of tulips to man is 2:1. maybe even 3:1. Really thankful to the canberries (which is what i like to call them) who plan such a wonderful and organised 'unplanned' trip. I think they will make wonderful tour guides and i am very sure that if they don't get a decent job with their ANU certificate, then i think they will be able to open a tour agency and it will be a huge sucess. But then again, canberra is so small and the places to go is so limited that whenever a bunch of people come down, they bring them to same places and hence they have a fixed set of itenary. But a job well done to them. Really glad i went on the canberra trip actually, got to know some of my sisters and brothers at a deeper level (learned from pohbwee, her definition of a deep conversation is to ask what their parents are doing!). Basically the whole trip revolved around getting to know what other people look for in a partner and attempting to get experiences from what i call the 'matures'. Especially when i felt prejudiced for being younger since i wasn't able to join in their 'old' talk! HAHA! But anyway, the trip was really fun just getting to know people and joking around although many would agree to the fact that i am the source of all jokes and entertainment (I can hear everyone saying 'WHy am I not surprised') but then it is really hard to be tamed and i am still trying to be demure, feminine and not JING!
Finally i am feeling abit drowsy, i will go lie on my bed and hopefully i will drift off to lala land soon.
